| Brussels, Belgium | With Europe so accessible from the south east of England - we decided to spend a weekend in Belgium to visit a few friends! The weather wasn't as nice as it could be, but it is February in Europe I guess. Brussels is not too bad a place. We enjoyed some good food, visited the museums and had some good waffles and beers! A big thanks to Virginie's friend Laurence for hosptitality giving up her room so we could have a place to crash! We only had a very quick stop in Brugges on the way back to the ferry, so didn't have a chance to see it all properly, but we'll try and get back in the summer to check it out some more! |
